Victor G. Carrion, MD

Victor G. Carrion, MD is the John A. Turner, M.D. Professor and Vice Chair of Psychiatry at Stanford University. He directs the Early Life Stress and Resilience Program, focusing on how trauma shapes youth brain function, behavior, and emotion. A national leader in child mental health, Dr. Carrion has developed novel treatments, chaired California’s Mental Health Commission, and authored foundational texts on pediatric PTSD. He has been recognized by AACAP, NIH, and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
