We completed our Series A stage in 2021 and are expanding our team to push the boundaries of machine learning technology. Our goal is to push the boundaries of behavioral healthcare across health systems.

As a Lead Product Designer, you’ll help shape the direction and lead the evolution of a new portfolio of digital products, which will be used by the healthcare ecosystem and those seeking to optimize their mental fitness. This role is integral to Ellipsis Health’s success and is a unique opportunity to join a mission-focused, fast-paced, and empathetic team with outsized impact! You will have opportunities to work on existing as well as new roadmap features while growing your leadership, and organizational impact.

WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO

​

• In the first 30 days, build a deep understanding of our customers and the key jobs that our software does for them

• In the first 90 days, you’ll collaborate with product, engineering, data science, and more on a cross-functional domain team to build, design, test, and release features

• In the first 180 days, you’ll be working closely with our product leadership team to define our strategic roadmap and identify gaps in design resourcing, org structure, process, etc and proactively solve for them

• Define design best practices, patterns, and processes as the first product designer at our organization

• Demonstrate and advocate for best practices in user research, wireframing, interaction design, and prototyping

• Translate customer and design problems into effective and engaging solutions

• Drive user research, wireframing, interaction design, prototyping and UI design for medium to large-scale design projects

WHO YOU'LL GET TO DO IT WITH

​​

• You’ll collaborate on a product team with a product manager and a team of engineers

• Product, Sales, and Executive leaders driving towards new business models that help address our mental health crisis

• A supporting research organization with deep scientific expertise

WHO YOU ARE

​​

• 5+ years of product design experience, with 2+ leading projects of medium scope and complexity

• Proficient with modern design and prototyping software and tools (like Figma) 

• Experience leading complex design projects with multiple contributors

• High tolerance of ambiguity and the ability to break issues down into concrete problems, while proposing creative solutions

• Ability to move seamlessly between defining strategy and delivering hands-on work

• Master of the product design process, including user research, interaction design, and UI design and a strong understanding of front-end/UI technologies

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships with cross-functional partners

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
